On a Friday night during Covid 19, I Finished taking a shower And I could not turn the water off.. turning it off would not stop the water. Panic-stricken, I called Tommy Malozi Jr. Plumbing. I was a wreck. He politely and calmly helped me figure out where my water turn-off was in my basement. I couldn’t think! His customer service skills over the phone were outstanding. He calmed me down and assured me that we could figure this out together on the phone to stop the water. He knew that that’s what we needed to do. As he walked me through this over the phone, I was able to find the valve and turn the water off. Then I gave him my address and he came to my house within 15 minutes. He made the repair within an hour. For a weekend call and my level of anxiety during these trying times, I can’t say enough about his professionalism, timeliness, and work ethic... I will forever be grateful to Tommy Malozi Jr Plumbing... kudos my new plumber!!!

He and his son came the following morning, unclogged our drain, and fixed our pipe in less than 2 hours!! Phillip and his brother came out within 30 minutes of my call. Our upstairs water heater was leaking and almost burst. The team acquired the water heater and completed the job within two hours.

First off...We are not DYI folks. Our house is cranky and quirky and never fails to thwart the inexperienced. Malozi has been our Go-To guy since 2009 and has helped us with everything from bad water softeners to squealing toilets with tree roots growing in the wax ring. They installed new toilets and sink fixtures, made multiple leaky valve repairs, put in a new master shut-off that my arthritic hands could actually close, and won the battle with a dishwasher that fiercely resisted its installation.
Then there was the whole oil burner fiasco of 2019 during subzero temps in mid-January. We kept having to hit the reset button. Mornings sucked. It didn’t occur to me to call my plumber when the oil burner goes. We called a home services company for a $99 cleaning and after a cursory inspection (and a $368 bill applied to any future job)..the news was devastating - it’s shot. A high-pressure sales pitch followed. New everything, 10-year contracts, full rip-outs. $21,000. Do it tomorrow for $16,000 at 20% off! Free financing...Sign now! Yadda yadda yadda.
So I called my beloved plumbers for advice. I am so grateful to them for saving us from that home services scam! ($21,000 versus $7000). No matter what happens now, I call them first, they also know a good electrician and an amazingly crafty tile guy.
