Plumbing Leaks

It's so annoying to hear the sound of a dripping faucet.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a faucet that drips just once per second can waste over 3,000 gallons of water per year.

But how do you know if you have a leak if there isn't any sound?

Detecting a leak can sometimes be tricky, especially if it's not something you can hear or see directly. However, there are several signs and methods you can use to check for leaks:

  1. Check Your Water Meter

  2. Monitor Your Water Bill

  3. Visual Inspection for signs of water stains

  4. Check outdoor faucets

  5. Check toilets by putting food coloring in the tank and waiting 15 minutes to see if the bowl water turns color (without flushing)

Pump Installation & Repair

Water Pumps are a home necessity, ensuring the delivery of water from its source to your fixtures and appliances. Depending on your particular circumstances, you may have any of the following types of pumps that need maintenance or repair:

  1. Boosting Water Pressure: If your home has low water pressure, a booster pump can be installed to increase the pressure of the water coming out of your faucets and showerheads.

  2. Hot Water Recirculation: Hot water recirculating pumps are used to provide instant hot water to fixtures and appliances.

  3. Sump Pumps: If your home has a basement, you might have a sump pump. These pumps help prevent basement flooding by pumping out water that collects in a sump basin and discharging it outside the home.
